Helping Others

We're not motivated by political or religious reasons. Mostly, we do it for fun. Despite being surrounded by extreme poverty, we hope our kids will one day realize these experiences are the richest of their lives. I am often impressed with how resourceful the poor can be, doing so much with so little. Admittedly, it's often disappointing to others with so much do so little.

For many years, our family has traveled to Tijuana MX to help others. We support an orphange and provide living assistance to families we know. We are grateful for these families' friendships.

In 2010, this video was created for Cindy as she received the President's Award for Community Service by her employer the Northrop Grumman Corporation.
It is the highest award given by the company.
